We, Swiss Stem Cells Biotech (SSCB), are a company that has focused on cell storage for years. Since 2005 we have specialized in the collection, processing and storage of stem cells for therapeutic and aesthetic purposes and the development of new test protocols.

Opening of the office in Zurich
GMP accreditation of the new isolators
Italian branch with offices in Roma and Milano
Approval from the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) for the allogeneic and hybrid preservation of stem cells from umbilical cord blood
Approval of two stem cell samples from umbilical cord blood for the treatment of cerebral palsy at Duke University of Durham in North Carolina (USA)
Introduction of isolators in the clean room for GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) production of stem cells from adipose tissue and umbilical cord tissue
SSCB is the only private bio-bank to be registered with the World Marrow Donor Association (WDMA) and certified to have all the requirements to process samples from stem cell donations and make them available again.
SSCB becomes the only biobank partner in the public-private hybrid bank project
SSCB receives certification and approval from FACT-NetCord for the third time
Relocation to the new headquarters in Vacallo, designed and approved to house structures and services for the pharmaceutical industry
In Italy, a stem cell sample from umbilical cord blood was released as life-saving therapy for a child with leukemia after chemotherapy failed
First release of a stromal-vascular fraction for an autologous homologous one
SSCB obtains FACT-Netcord accreditation for the second time
Swissmedic certification
Approval to extract stem cells from adipose tissue (SVF Stromal Vascular Fraction)
Relocation to the new headquarters in Taverne (Ticino)
